I'm requesting nomination for a memorial spot on your website ( www.officerpratt.org) for SPC JAMES DAVID WERTISH KIA July 16th, 2009 is Basra, Iraq by a mortar. James was attached to the 34TH MP CO out of Minnesota.
James was a good friend that I went to trainging with. He was a great person and an even better soldier. We both attended basic training and advance individual training for military police together. James was from Olivia, MN. He gave the ultimate sacrifice for his country. I just want everyone who visits your site to be able to see him and honor him like the rest of the heroes who gave their lives serving this great country, both foreign and domestic.
